Professional Account
👉 To be eligible to utilize AvaTrade’s Professional Account, trading professionals must first create a retail account with the business. Traders interested in pursuing a career as professional traders must first open a retail account before proceeding.
👉 Professional Status and a Professional Account are available to traders who meet two of the following criteria.
➡️ Trading operations in a relevant financial market over twelve consecutive months, accompanied by proof of significant transactions in that market. This is based on an average trading frequency of 10 transactions each quarter in CFDs, FX, or spread betting in the financial markets for the past four consecutive quarters.
➡️ Before applying, traders must have a minimum of one year of experience in the financial services business.
➡️ The trader must have a minimum investment portfolio of €500,000 (or its equivalent in any other currency), consisting mostly of cash and financial instruments.
Options Trading
👉 AvaTrade trading enables Rwandan traders to acquire and/or sell a certain quantity of a financial instrument at a fixed price and within a predetermined period.
👉 When trading options, retail Rwandan traders have complete control over both the instrument and the amount invested. Apart from that, the trader retains total control over the price and time at which this specific item is traded.
👉 Options trades can be executed in a single trading day, or over a week, months, or even a year, depending on the conditions. AvaTrade allows Rwandan traders to select between Call and Put Options.
👉 Call options to provide the buyer with the right to purchase an asset at a certain price if specific requirements are met. Traders who believe the market is in a bullish phase at the time of purchase engage in this kind of options trading.
